FAMILY RUNNING CLUB
HOOD RIVER FAMILY RUNNING CLUB
This program is run by Hood River Valley Parks + Recreation District and Hood River runner and advocate Nicole Karaszewski.
Who can sign up Anyone! Families with any aged children. Young kids can be in a stroller, older kids can participate in age appropriate running activities. Extended family/grandparents welcome.
Program Description The Family Running Club will meet four times (see dates below). We will start with a warm up then hit the ground running with a running and family based workout. Participants can chose a track workout, a trail run on Indian Creek Train, or a walking group. This program is designed to create a fun and healthy habit with your loved ones. This is an inclusive program that adapts to the needs and abilities of the participants, it is not competition based but a fun way to bring the community together over a shared practice.
