Glenna, and her husband, Doug and two children, moved to Hood River in 1982 from Rufus where she had been an E.M.T. and swim instructor for years.  She operated the Aquatic Center  for one year before being employed by the Hood River County School District, where she worked until retirement in 1999.  Currently, she works one day a week at the high school, is coordinator of the Upper Valley Food Bank, babysits one day a week with grandchildren, golfs and gardens.

Arthur Carroll, Vice President, 541-386-7257

Greg Davis, Director,  541-645-0545

Greg is an avid user of the Hood River Valley Parks and Rec facilities and is a big fan of the community's healthy, active lifestyle.  He and wife Kathryn, a science teacher at HRVHS, enjoy the fun hobbies and infinite beauty of the area with their two gorge-grown daughters and one small dog.  When not swimming at the aquatic center, picnicking in the parks or running the Indian Creek trail, Greg works as a product manager in the unmanned aircraft industry.

Karen Ford, President, 541-399-3728

Karen was a die hard Hood River weekend warrior from Portland for many years before relocating to Bend to join her fiancé. In 2005, with a new son and desire for smaller town living, she and her husband decided to relocate to Hood River and become permanent members of the community. These days Karen works as a property manager, volunteers at her son's school and is enjoying her third year as a HRVPR board member. In her spare time you may find Karen recreating on the trails, in the pool or on the Columbia.

Renee van de Griend, Director, 541-386-3411
